
I read 2/3 books and none were on my original list so technically this challenge is a failure.

I enjoyed both books I read greatly so I am counting it as a success personally. The challenge calls for reading nonfiction only but I would like to mention a fiction book I read called the Housekeeper and the Professor by Yoko Ogawa which has a lot of math in it which they count as part of science. I highly recommend it as it is one of my favorites for 2009. I read Gardening Eden by Michael Abbate and This is Your Brain on Joy by Dr. Earl Henslin as nonfiction for this challenge. I loved both of them. I will be signing up for the Science Challenge 2010 and hopefully will do better. :)
