I just finished The Girls from Ames, a true story about 11 girls who become friends in junior high and continue their friendship into adulthood. It is non-fiction, a chronicle of sorts, not what I expected. But I loved it!

Now I'm reading Jan Karon's Return to Holly Springs, and have the second book in the trilogy on order. I loved the Mitford series and am enjoying this one as well.
