Half-time has come & gone and so it is time to reminisce on what you’ve read so far today. How has your reading gone so far? What snacks have you partaken in? Are you catching any of the commercials? Any favorites?
I have been busy cooking and cleaning but I did finish In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan. This morning I finished The Prodigal Comes Home by Kathryn Springer. I loved it. The books are so different I can't pick a favorite. I have eaten so much today I feel sick. Tonight alone I have eaten peanut butter, apple, iceberg salad with cucumber tomato cheese croutons ranch dressing, and turkey taco meat. I have not seen any of the commericals but I did catch some of the Black Eyed Peas show. I might start a new book before bed but I still need to clean some spinach for my lunch this week and get my other stuff together. :)

This looks like such a fun read-a-thon. I wish I had seen it earlier. I spent the Superbowl waiting for the next ad, since I'm not a big football fan.
I love your blog's 'new' look. I haven't been over in ages -- when I switched from bloglines to google, I lost a bunch of the blogs I follow, so I'm still catching up.
Enjoyed your book reviews, especially "The Tapestry of Love." I'm going to put it on my TBR list.
Have a good week!
