Clean Away the Clutter Read a thon 2010

Brittanie:
I must be crazy to sign up for this but the Dewey Read a thon falls on that weekend too so it will work together. My goal is a book a day leading up to Dewey's read a thon that weekend. I really hope I do not get burned out before the weekend comes though. :)
This read a thon is hosted by Kate @ The Neverending Shelf
As part of the Clear Away the Clutter challenge, I (Kate) will be hosting a Clear Away the Clutter Read-A-Thon. The purpose of the read-a-thon is to help challenge participants hit that book clutter hard. Who can participate Anyone. You do not have to be a participant of the Clear Away the Clutter challenge to join in the read-a-thon. Or even have a blog.

When

Begins: 7am, Monday, April 5th

Ends: 11pm, Sunday, April 11th

Prizes As part of the event, there will be several prizes given out. More information will be given as we get closer to the event. If you would like to donate a prize for the event, please contact me.

For this read-a-thon, you can read as little or as much as you want! Our goal here is to help ourselves fight against our TBR piles.

However, if you plan to participate, you can post your list at anytime.

Stuff to consider for the read-a-thon:

* You may be reading for a bunch of hours. To help yourself not get burnt out, mix up your book lengths. Read a few shorter books, then maybe a longer one.

* Read when it is convenient for you. You do not have to read for a crazy amount of hours... just do what works for you.

* This is going to be a fun event... so set realistic goals for yourself. However, if you do not reach them... no big deal.

* You may want to consider any other challenges that you are participating in. And see if you can add in some of those titles to your read-a-thon list.
