Paperback: 144 pages

Product Description:The Sighing of the Winter Trees is as soothing as a hot cup of tea on a winter’s night. Winter, one of the most coldest and darkest of seasons is personified. There are ordinary situations such as “An I Love You on a Friday Afternoon,” like a gift of lollipops…imagine, an I love you on a Friday afternoon helps add spice to life. I’ve written poetry about a winter storm that is especially beautiful. In the midst of a winter storm think of the joyous days our hearts whispered. Think of the joyous days.

My Review: This was an enjoyable collection of simple poems featuring themes such as love, seasons, nature, holidays, the colors blue and purple, and flowers. I love the cover of the collection and the title. I like how they are easy to understand but still interesting. My favorite ones are probably the autumn themed poems. I only wish it had been organized into sections maybe so it would be easier to revisit certain parts of the collection at a time. Overall recommended because I did like them. :)

Harvest Moon by Laura Grossman

It is the night of

The harvest moon

The moon so beautiful

In the late autumn sky

Plays a harvest tune

The harvest moon

So beautiful in the

Late sky
