The Influenza Bomb
Paul McCusker and Walt Larimore, M.D.
Howard Jun 1 2010, $14.99
ISBN: 9781416569756
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Siberian hospitals are overrun with people dying from a disease that appears uncannily like the Spanish Flu of 1918. When Dr. Susan Hutchinson from the World health Organization and a top-secret group of government scientists arrive, they are met with a stubborn Russian bureaucracy determined to ignore the problem.
Despite their lack of cooperation, Dr. Hutchinson learns that the outbreak began with a professor names Weigel—who has now disappeared. The scientists, including mark Carlson and Nora Richards from TSI: The Gabon Virus, search for a means of dealing with the outbreak and for Weigel himself, who seems to have been in collusion with the head of Return to Earth, a notorious eco-terrorist group.
When Weigel is killed during a kidnapping attempt, Return to Earth makes off with a mysterious device called the Influenza Bomb, which has the potential to destroy all of mankind. In a race against time—with the entire world at stake—Dr. Hutchinson must stop Return to Earth from spreading the contamination.

He is now Creative Director for Focus on the Family.

So, what's your opinion about the book?
Ooooh, envy! I didn't realize the latest TSI book is available. I loved the first book and look forward to your review. How are you doing, Brittanie? The heat is really something, isn't it?
What did you think about the book? I loved it, but I also loved The Gabon Virus too. I'm really loving this series and look forward to more. I hope it is more than a trilogy and will just continue for a long while.
