Persephone Reading Week
This is the second reading challenge highlighting a small publisher in London, England, named Persephone.Persephone Books reprints neglected classics by 20th century(mostly women) writers. I have only recently learned about them but already I am in love. I own Mariana by Monica Dickens and I am looking forward to reading it this week in honor of Persephone reading week hosted Claire and Verity. Claire blogs at http://www.paperback-reader.co.uk/ and Verity at http://cardigangirlverity.blogspot.com/
I have been reading their website and catalogue for months. I have a huge wish list now. lol
Most of their books have the signature dove gray covering and a really cool fabric on the inside perfect for the time period the book was published in. I highly encourage you to check out their website: http://www.persephonebooks.co.uk/
