August Reads in Review

I read 21 books in the month of August which is better than the 11 I read in July. I read 5 non fiction books which is really good for me. My favorite non fiction book is This Is Your Brain On Joy by Dr. Earl Henslin. My least favorite is The End of Overeating by Dr. David Kessler. I liked all of the fiction books I read. The ones in bold are my absolute favorites. The only one that I did not like was Outlaw's Bride by Lori Copeland. Crocodile on the Sandbank was not as good as I thought it would be but I am going to read the second book in the series anyway. If you want to see a list of all the books I have read this year look under the 100+ Reading Challenge button on my sidebar. My goals for September include getting a lot of review books read and starting the Fall Into Reading Challenge 2009 hosted by Katrina at Callapidder Days. :)

I looked for This is Your Brain on Joy at Borders, the other day, and couldn't find it. I loved your review. I liked My Cat Spit McGee. Have you read any of Willie Morris' fiction? I've only read his dog and cat books.

Wow, 21 books! How do you do it? 11 would be outstanding for me.

I have The Noticer and The Blue Enchantress on my TBR list. I am holding off on This is Your Brain since I need to read a similar book first.
