I loved this Christian historical fiction book. The characters came alive for me. The plot was interesting and unique. I love that in a book. I wanted to pop Lucy's sister many times. Her attitude and actions were deplorable at times but fitting for her age. The main part of the story is about Lucy though. Rowena and Sofia's stories are subplots. The writing is excellent and flowed good. I can't wait to read Nancy Moser's next historical fiction book. Highly Recommended. :)
