For more than a decade, Sandra D. Bricker lived in Los Angeles. Always the Baker, Never the Bride was released by Abingdon Press in September 2010. My Review:
I loved this book. I have read the whole series and liked them all. The characters do repeat but you would be fine reading this one on its own but why when the whole series is so good. lol They are classified as Christian Chick Lit but there were some deep spiritual themes the characters learned. There were many lol moments also. It was a good blend of faith and funny. The writing and characters were excellent and the plot lines interesting. Highly Recommended!

My Review:
Never the Bride is a humorous chick lit novel with a spiritual message. Overall I liked it. It had parts where I was not sure especially when she starts seeing and talking to God as he is in the form of a man. But it works out. The main theme revolves around giving control of our lives over to God and listening to Him which includes writing our love stories. The characters and plot are interesting. I wanted to know what happened so I kept reading. This is being made into a movie that will be released next year. I look forward to seeing it. Recommended. :)
